EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF VASCULAR SURGEONS discussed the results of gene therapy developed by HSCI.

May 13-14, 2016, London hosted a conference of the European Society of Vascular Surgeons (ESVS). The event was attended by more than 100 experts in the field of vascular surgery and angiology, as well as regenerative medicine from Europe, UK, USA, Russia, France, Germany, Brazil and many others.

Plotnikov has shown that Neovasсulgen treatment for patients with lower limb ischemia increases amount of blood vessels in skeletal muscle.

First gene therapy drug in EU to be marketed in Germany starting from 2015 Germany is going to be the first country in Europe where gene therapy drug will be marketed. Sales of the drug for the treatment of a rare genetic disease - lipoprotein lipase deficiency, will be launched in the first half of next year. The cost of the drug will be 1.1 million euros for the course.
